I felt like the superbowl and man of the woods showed his lack taste……idk some artist lose it as they age and I definitely think can’t stop the feeling had him looking cheesy and messed up his palette. But what you said at the end was right, he didn’t really have a point. He had nothing to say and maybe that’s his issue in general with music right now. Also the fact that he is an asshat that no one cares for anymore but I always think you could be one song or album away from getting a hit and no one caring about the past.

He doesn't deserve that defense and here is why, nobody is blaming him for the entire situation. We are blaming him for gleefully participating and benefitting from these two women. He's being held accountable for his actions. He used the social abuse of these two women to profit and boost himself, he got positive press for those two situations and HE KNEW HE DID.

Caught up in the 'rithm of it.

A couple of years ago, "The Calling" played at the small 500 people venue I sometimes barkeep at. Alex I think was the only remaining member of the original lineup. It was right after that kidnapping incident that to this day I am not sure if it actually happened of if he just had a psychotic breakdown and made it all up. Dude was miserable. Unhealthy both in mind and body, kinda... empty, getting dragged around by management and having to perform the same couple songs over and over again to a crowd that couldn't care less or actively disliked him for this big one hit. He kinda had this vacant look of someone with dementia when they have a lucid moment and realise how everyone else is looking at them. I sincerely hope he's in a better place now, noone deserves that. It was the first time I ever saw a former "star" more than a decade past success.

This is my favorite oasis album! And I LOVE all 3 of those early albums. They’re all great. But I think for me, having been such a tender age at 12 in 1997/98 that plays a major factor in its important -ness for me. The music that hits us at that age stays w us forever. ❤ but now that it’s 2024 i can look back and see that, but still love this record. It’s got some bangers, it’s got Johnny Depp, it’s got cocaine, excess and Noel Gallagher songwriting. What’s not to love?! Oasis’ last great album.

Oh this video has my whole heart! Of course I remember the Jimmy ray song! But one HAD TO BE THERE… I was 12 in 97/98 and those specific years are so important to that age so this song fits perfectly and thus, has remained with me my entire life. Either you know the song or you don’t. Part of its charm! ❤ even looking back now In 2024 to this music video it’s truly so iconic and bizarre that everything aligns creating this memorable moment in late 90s music history. ❤ it’s so damn catchy now il have this in my head! 😂
